THE TRANSFORMATION

Not another retreat.

A different kind of experience.

This is not a week of lectures and worksheets. It's not a place where you sit quietly and think about your life...

WHO ARE YOU BENEATH THE MASK?

A gap between who you are and who you’ve learned to be.

Most of us become very good at functioning.

We show up. We manage. We keep moving. We've built a life that, from the outside, looks complete — the career, the relationships, the routines. And yet, in the quiet moments, something stirs. A sense that there's a gap between who you are and who you've learned to be. Between the life you're living and something more honest underneath.

That gap isn't a problem to fix. It's an invitation.

Beneath the Mask is a six-day experiential retreat in Todos Santos, Baja California Sur — a place where the desert meets the Pacific and the distance from your everyday life becomes a powerful part of the process.

Here, we work not just with the mind, but with the body, the ocean, and real-time experience.

We don't analyze your patterns from a distance. We encounter them directly — in the water, in movement, in the space between you and other people.

What you discover here won't be handed to you. It will emerge — through the wave you were afraid to catch, through the silence you didn't expect to feel, through the moment you realized you were holding your breath in more ways than one.

RETREAT

EXPERIENCE

Five days of group process, vulnerability, ritual, and integration.

Movement, nature, and community create real contact.

Beneath the Mask is structured around direct experience.

ONE CONTINUOUS PROCESS

Each day builds on what came before.

Each experience is brought into group and individual therapeutic work guided by Gestalt principles — an experiential approach focused on present-moment awareness, body intelligence, and authentic contact with yourself and others.

The retreat is not designed to teach you about yourself. It's designed to let you feel, see, and meet yourself.

PRE-RETREAT PREPARATION PROCESS

Three individual and one group online sessions to begin the process.

DAY 1

Arrival, grounding, and first contact with awareness

DAY 2

Surfing, ocean, and patterns revealed through action

DAY 3

Emotional depth, vulnerability, and the bonfire ritual

DAY 4

DAY 5

Integration, creative expression, and conscious closure

THIS RETREAT MAY BE FOR YOU

You don’t need to be broken to come here. You need to be ready.

Ready for something more honest, more embodied, more real.

Whether you're navigating a transition, feeling the quiet weight of patterns you can't quite name, or simply curious about what becomes possible when you step out of your usual context — this retreat is designed to meet you exactly where you are.

A Note from José Antonio

I built this retreat because I needed something like it and couldn't find it.

I'd spent years in therapeutic processes that helped me think about myself more clearly — but the real shifts happened when I was in the water, when I was moving, when something unexpected pulled the mask off in real time. I began to understand that transformation doesn't only happen in conversation. It happens in experience.

This retreat is the integration of everything I've learned — as a therapist, as someone who has accompanied over 100 people through deep personal processes, and as a person who knows what it feels like to live from behind a mask. I don't offer this retreat because I have the answers. I offer it because I know what becomes possible when the right conditions are created.

I hope you'll come.
